JOB TITLE: LEAD INFORMATION ARCHITECT
JOB LOCATION: DUBLIN, IRELAND
JOB TYPE: 6 MONTHS CONTRACT.
POSITION PURPOSE
This role is responsible to perform the necessary leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks related to the development and support of the technical IT Tools & Processes (ITTP) ecosystem across Client.
This role will lead a team of information and data architects, providing leadership and direction across all the key areas of architecture including design, development, integration, and governance.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Consult Senior IT Leadership, IT Infrastructure Operations Management and IT Business Management to access the information needs for improving insight and understanding of IT services and IT assets
Creating the information architecture for IT Operations Management understanding target audiences' needs, tasks, and goals and translating them into easily discoverable elements
Conduct information analysis and data mining efforts to identify key trends and patterns in support of improving management of IT Operations.
Bring thought leadership to the strategic management, design, modelling, provisioning, goverance and quality management of informational assets within the operational landscape.
Lead the information and data architecture team, defining architecture standards, patterns and principles and evaluating/recommending technology direction.
Keep up-to-date and knowledgeable about industry trends and emerging technologies, promoting a recommended direction for information and analytical systems.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Substantial experience leading enterprise-level information and data architecture projects.
Expert level in the design, modelling and implementation of information systems, including data warehouse and data marts.
Considerable experience with various BI and/or data warehouse tools and platforms.
Considerable hands on programming/development experience.
Experience working across globally distributed culturally diverse, Matrix organizations.
Experience working with IT Operations tools a plus.
ITIL v3 foundation or greater a preference.
Experience of working with clients in a consulting role
