NOW HIRING: INFORMATION ARCHITECT

Duke Web Services (DWS) is seeking an Information Architect to join the Office of Information Technology (OIT) Web Services team. The position is responsible for organizing and structuring content, and collaborating with the Creative Director on user experience (UX) design for Duke University and Health System websites. The process includes site and content discovery, usability and accessibility assessment and testing, taxonomy development, site and application prototyping, experience wire-framing, content development and management, maintenance usability review, and general consultancy.

The position requires a genuine passion for cutting-edge technology, the ability to assess the feasibility of projects, write requirements and specifications, and research and recommend solutions. This position reports to the Manager of Duke Web Services in OIT.
