Our client is a Tier 1 American Investment Bank here in Dublin and they are currently looking for an
Information Architect/Design Lead for a long term contract.

Responsibilities
Serve as the client's primary point of contact with the Design team and the overall user experience design process.
Collaborate with a team of other information architects, visual designers, editors, UX developers, researchers and usability specialists to tackle complex projects of varying size.
Ensure the design team understands their role on a project & that their individual tasks are coordinated & carried out in a timely fashion.
Be accountable for UX deliverables ensuring project deadlines are met and are within budget.
Ensure design team efforts are in sync with the client's business goals, expectations and budget.
Conduct or participate in stakeholderconduct necessary user research to do so.
Conduct comparative/competitive analysis of web/mobile functions or online behaviors.
Create and document site/application information and interaction designs.
Create site maps, wireframes, lo-fidelity prototypes (if needed), and user flows.
Work with visual designers to create final visual designs & UX developers to create mock ups & production code.
Work closely with our usability team to test and refine designs and prototypes.
Partner with our development team to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation.
Design solutions for responsive/adaptive websites, desktop & mobile applications.

Qualifications
6+ years' experience as an information architect, interaction designer, experience designer or a similar role.
Degree in a related field, such as Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Human Factors a plus.
Experience designing highly transactional websites or web-based applications.
Experience designing responsive/adaptive websites.
Experience designing for European & US markets. Knowledge of internationalization design considerations.
Experience working within a distributed/remote team.
Familiarity with financial services.

Skills & Knowledge
Creativity, imagination and a sense of humor.
Ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviors and translate them into deliverable tasks.
Strong knowledge of interaction design and methodology.
Knowledge of design principles and standards (including accessibility).
Demonstrated experience using web analytics to inform design decisions.
Ability to prioritize design issues based on their impact to the user experience and advocate for changes based on that priority.
Ability to communicate and demonstrate the value and rationale of design decisions to business and technology partners.
Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbalDreamweaver, Photoshop/Fireworks etc.
Experience with both traditional solution delivery methodologies, and with rapid, iterative solution delivery methods, such as Agile, a plus.
Experience with participatory design (eg Design Thinking) a plus.
Collaborative work style.
