Information Architect

FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Development of wireframes and flows for communications experiences within the Office 365 applications and workloads.
- Working closely and in-person with Office 365 and Skype designers to define the points of overlap, on-ramps into communications.
- Organize and design information in contextually relevant formats.
- Sketch conceptual UI
- Create wireframes
- Develop user testing
- Develop navigation, search and labeling sub-systems to enhance find ability and deliver a rewarding user experience.
- Address scalability for information structures.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2-5 years' experience implementing and creating usability studies, personas, user flows, taxonomies, thesauri, wireframes, style guides, navigational structures, and affinity diagrams.
- Experience writing functional specifications and creating user interaction design mock-ups.
- Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio or other design tools. Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, DHTML, XML, AJAX) required.
- Experience with rich-client or web applications a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, New Media or other related field preferred.
- Experience with developing specifications and documentation in Adobe CS suite of tools
- Experience with designing for rich web applications using current web technologies.
- Experience with designing for communications applications across multiple form factors.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Modern design language and its principles.
