Informatics Communications & Technology Marketing Specialist
Edelway SA is a Swiss IT Services Consultancy. Our global multinational end-client based in Basel is currently looking to hire an Informatics Communications & Technology Marketing Specialist.
Working language: English & German
Full time engagement until end of 2014 (extension possible)
Starting Date: ASAP
As an Internal Informatics Communications & Technology Marketing Specialist, you will create communications and marketing programs to support the development and deployment of Informatics software and systems to all associates. This position will work with colleagues in Basel and at other sites to drive user awareness and adoption of Informatics products and services.
THE ROLE:
*Work with partners within the Informatics group to communicate and promote software/service upgrades
*Identifying which available tools (email, Intranet, newsletters, video, etc.) are appropriate for each project
*Working with Scientific and Business Application Trainers to create campaigns to promote awareness and training for their specific applications
*Communicate complex technologies to informatics people and researchers
*Identifying what is important to each target group and translating that into easy to understand and informative copy
*Positioning changes to products, services and processes appropriately
*Partner with product managers to develop clear, compelling value propositions to drive adoption and usage of technologies and services
*Create content that is appropriate for global audiences, to support marketing efforts across online and offline channels
*Develop metrics and conduct research in the form of online surveys, focus groups, etc., to continually measure and enhance the effectiveness of communication efforts
*Work closely with corporate communication partners to coordinate global initiatives and ensure that they align with brand guidelines
*Provide design development, direction, and management of external creative and print vendors
*Different writing projects include: email, newsletters, product marketing copy, video scripts, training or seminar advertisements, etc.
YOUR PROFILE:
*Recommended 6+ years of communications & technology marketing experience
*Demonstrated examples of written communication materials and successful technology marketing plans (English, German)
*Ability to think strategically and create communications/marketing campaigns from start to finish while functioning in a flexible, constantly changing environment
*Ability to effectively communicate complex and often complicated technical concepts in a non-technical manner
*Strong project management skills and the ability to constructively give input and gain consensus within global, cross-functional teams
*A self-starter with a proven track record in performing well in a fast pace environment and organizational skills to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively
