For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring an Informatica Expert BI (m/f)

Location: Frankfurt

Duration: in a limited permanent position at Nash direct/Harvey Nash Group for 9 months

Tasks:

* Analysis of new requirements, inception, documentation and implementation of ETL flows in Informatica, both in traditional BI environments and in Big Data solutions
* Maintenance of existing Informatica assets and implementing changes to ETL flows as a result of changes in source or target data models
* Prepare and conduct deployment activities in various staging environment of Informatica assets and support test activities by providing test data and user access
* Specific technical skills: relational and dimensional data modelling, modelling of data marts, creation of ETL/ELT flows, performance tuning and optimisation of ETL/ELT flows, Big Data technologies (in particular Cloudera, HDFS, Hive, MapReduce, Yarn, Informatica Blaze, Apache Spark)
* 3rd line support for production incidents and problem resolution
* On-call duties possible

Your Profile:

* Masters degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
* Engineering and design experience
* an advanced command of English with proven drafting ability;
* proven experience with Informatica ETL engine (both PowerCenter version 9.x/10.x and Big Data Management version 10.x)
* proven experience with the creation of ETL flows using PowerCenter Client and Developer
* proven experience with Informatica Test Data Management suite on financial/banking systems
* proven experience with Informatica Data Quality
* proven experience with Informatica Master Data Management
* shows commitment to the achievement of team and organisational goals
* manages multiple assignments and tracks progress on numerous processes simultaneously
* uses diplomacy and tact when dealing with colleagues
* uses simple/clear words to communicate ideas
