Informatica ETL Support Developers

EDT Global are working with an established organisation based in Sydney that are looking to engage an INFORMATICA DEVELOPER (IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE) to work in a support role until the end of January 2015. (With view to extend)

This position requires the ability to thoroughly understand the data, its transformation and its reconciliation. It also involves a strong ability to analyse issues and recommend solutions to rectify defects. This analytical activity requires strong communication skills to articulate the issue, propose a range of solutions and be able to document the solution.

The role will operate within a close knit team, and therefore require effective communication and liaison skills.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR DEVELOPERS TO HAVE A DECENT MIXTURE OF THE FOLLOWING:

- 3-5 years + of Informatica PowerCenter experience (v8 or later)
- Extensive PowerExchange project experience
- The ability to support an Informatica ETL environment.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Advanced SQL skills
- Problem solving ability and strong analytical skills
- Strong relational database experience, including both Oracle and SQL Server
- Troubleshooting and problem management skills
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to challenge existing business perceptions and thoughts around ETL methodologies
