Informatica Architect Job

INFORMATICA ARCHITECT needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

- Informatica Architect experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The ETL Architect position is focused on defining data integration best practices within the department while designing and implementing data integration solutions to meet project requirements.
- This position is expected to deliver data integration solutions that adhere to enterprise standards and meet, if not exceed, the information needs of all of the stakeholders.
- Participating in requirements gathering sessions
- Analyzing requirements and architecting an integration solution that is flexible, highly performing, scalable and correctly manages business data/information
- Ensuring technical architectures and solutions represent sound directions for clients and anticipate the subsequent growth of the solutions.
- Articulating key aspects of architecture and design (eg, scalability, availability, manageability, robustness, appropriate incorporation of new technology) through models, documentation, and code
- Validating integration design & development workstreams/units of work
- Creating solution documentation
- Identifying and recommending ETL process and architecture improvements
- Participating in performance tuning triage and resolution activities
- Conducting ETL architecture and data integration design review sessions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, required
- Applicants should be self-motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who possess the desired qualifications in this requisition and who work well in a collaborative environment.
- MUST HAVE STRONG ARCHITECTURE EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with data integration
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience using Informatica
- Experience in data integration development practices and tools
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, problem solving and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with general supervision

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience using integration technologies other than Informatica
- Experience working in the gas or electric utility industries
