Industrial Maintenance/Electrician

Perform planned preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and reactionary repairs on Electrical systems and fire alarm systems. Maintain database in compliance with company specifications and SOPs. Effectively communicate ideas through verbal and written form. Interact constructively with peers/teams. Collaborates and coordinate with higher level outside resources.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains and repairs general Electrical components; Panels, VFD's, Motor Control Cabinets Motors, lighting.
Troubleshooting above listed equipment.
Read drawing and troubleshoot control circuitry.
Install conduit and cable.
Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Provides sketches and dimensions used by planning to create plans for work order.
Researches catalogs and vendor services for complex and/or customized system retrofits.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Operate substation and medium voltage switch gear.

SKILLS:
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED
Trade experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Mass Journeyman Electrical License.
NFPA 70E trained.
Experience in a cGMP environment is a plus.
Electrical installation, maintenance, and repair skills.
Knowledge of Electrical distribution systems maintenance and repair.
Knowledge of fire Alarm systems.
Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
Ability to work in the planned and scheduled maintenance programs.
Ability to troubleshooting and execute emergency repairs.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
Ability to work with technicians in complex repair work.
