Industrial Hygienist Job

INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST needed for a CONTRACT TIME opportunity with Yoh's client located in CREVE COEUR, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Requires a high level of detail in the scope of work performed, Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience in addition to good communication and documentation skills using Microsoft Office especially Access

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage the SDS mailbox
- Assist with chemical quarantine as part of the chemical management program
- Update 3E and Cispro as needed
- Ask chemical requestors of tier II chemicals to complete IH risk assessment; conduct exposure monitoring as needed
- Conduct air, noise, and IAQ sampling
- Review New Employee Orientation checklists and provides the proper training for OSHA required chemicals.
- Conduct New Employee Orientation - Lab Training.
- Coordinate the Chemical Inventory for the St. Louis Sites.
- Conduct ergonomic evaluations as needed.
- Conduct Ergonaut training

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING INTO THE TABLE:

- This position also requires travel to various sites in the St. Louis area.
- Applied work experience in performing ergonomic evaluations and air, noise, and IAQ sampling is required.
- The candidate must be able to work with Microsoft Office including Access.
- Candidate should also be able to operate as a team member.

- The position requires good communication and documentation skills.
- It will require candidate to utilize industrial hygiene monitoring equipment, conduct ergonaut and new employee training, and assist with management of the chemical management program and IH chemical assessments.
