Industrial Hygienist - Intermediate Job

INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST- INTERMEDIATE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CREVE COEUR, MO.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Must be able to work with Microsoft Office including Access.
- Responsible to work on specified safety and health project(s) as outlined by site Industrial Hygiene
- Be able to perform air, noise, and IAQ sampling and assess programs for effectiveness and operational effectiveness.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Manage the SDS mailbox
- Assist with chemical quarantine as part of the chemical management program
- Update 3E and Cispro as needed
- Ask chemical requestors of tier II chemicals to complete IH risk assessment; conduct exposure monitoring as needed
- Review New Employee Orientation checklists and provides the proper training for OSHA required chemicals.
- Conduct New Employee Orientation - Lab Training.
- Coordinate the Chemical Inventory for the St. Louis Sites.
- Conduct ergonomic evaluations as needed.
- Conduct Ergonaut training
- Run reports in OES to gather information on users' risk/discomfort levels
- Email OES users to notify them of completion or need to update profile/have an in-person evaluation
- Assign in-person evaluation curriculum to OES high risk/constant discomfort users Ergonomic Team site and Database Updates
- Respiration Expiration Emails
- IH Equipment Calibrations
- May travel between two work sites- so you must have your own vehicle

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of experience
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency especially with Access.
