Industrial Engineer

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create documentation and work instructions for production manufacturing processes.
- Define proper work methods for task and appropriate processes for work flow activities.
- Develops policies and procedures specific to plant operations.
- Documents manufacturing processes and methods that are efficient, effective and safe.
- Conducts ad hoc studies of manufacturing operations for improvement when requested.
- Be a key contributor to FMEA processes in selected areas.
- Responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements solutions.

SKILLS:

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering field.
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience in Chemical, Food, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics or related manufacturing operations with a broad understanding of chemical processes and unit operations.
- Strong technical and problem-solving ability.
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering design, design for manufacturability, and documentation procedures.
- Must be able to interface with all levels of staff in a professional and collaborative manner.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Superior writing skills for process documentation and procedure/specification production.
