Industrial Engineer

Contract Industrial Engineers with Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) experience are needed in the Chicago, Illinois area (with travel to Detroit office) for an engine manufacturer. Local candidates preferred. Must have experience with failure analysis with large engines. These are contract positions lasting 2 -3 months with competitive hourly rates and benefits. Project would start in January. Now interviewing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You will be responsible for developing PFMEA's, closing recommended actions with design, and putting in the tools and methods to error proof the production process.
- Analyze build process, and if it is not correct, determine what to do to correct the process to have the intended outcome.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must have at least 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment with PFMEA experience.
- No degree is required, although related engineering experience and education is a plus.
- Must have experience with PFMEA's on large engines and diesel engineers in a plant environment.
- Experience with new product launches is a plus.
