Industrial Control Systems Technical Consultant (Risk and Inspection)

INDUSTRIAL CONTROL SYSTEMS TECHNICAL CONSULTANT (RISK AND INSPECTION)

You will be required to create a number of optimal Target Architecture Blueprint documents that describe Industrial Control Systems and SCADA related cybersecurity controls. These documents must be created by applying the guidance of relevant standards, best practice and Qatari government policies.

COMPETENCIES AND SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL:

- Creating Critical Asset Blueprints (Target Architecture) Documents
- Creating checklists and guidance notes for blueprints to enable their use
- Awareness sessions for users of the Blueprints (including non-technical audiences)
- Stakeholder engagement
- Synthesis, simplification and application of published standards
- Managing the document through its whole life cycle including review and rework
- Accountable for qualification of deliverables within cost and schedule constraints
- Ability to describe target architectures blueprints in technology agnostic terms
- Team player familiar with the rigours of an ambitious delivery programme
- Strong communication (particularly written English) and interpersonal skills

DESIRABLE:

- Secure Network Design and Segregation
- Security Risk Assessment
- Server and Workstation hardening
- User and Application Behaviour Whitelist creation
- Creation of formal Product Descriptions
- Disaster Recovery Process creation or review (Systems, Network, User, Relocation)

QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

ESSENTIAL:

- Minimum 5 years in a security-conscious IT design role

DESIRABLE:

- Experience of Industrial Control Systems and SCADA Networks
- Experience of ISA/IEC-62443 (formerly ISA-99)
- Awareness of Qatar National Information Assurance Policy v2.0
- Awareness of Qatari National Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Security Standard v3.0
- IT Security and Risk certifications (CSSA, CISSP etc.)

This role is based in Doha, Qatar and you must be based on client site Sunday to Thursday.
