e-Synergy Solutions are currently hiring for an Indirect Sourcing Specialist/Buyer for a 12 month contract based in Stavanger, Norway
Role - Indirect Sourcing Specialist/Buyer
Location - Stavanger, Norway
Duration - 12 months
Rate - Approx 300 NOK per hour all inclusive.
Start Date - ASAP

Indirect Sourcing Specialist/Buyer
The Indirect Sourcing Specialist is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
Key responsibilities
-Ensure lowest possible cost for material, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs while executing against set strategies
-Understand strategies for assigned commodities and proactively drive initiatives
-Solicit and evaluate proposals employing appropriate negotiation, cost and price analysis techniques
-Assist in identifying and driving new sources of supply and qualifying new suppliers
-Implement purchase orders (PO's) and PO management with sound purchasing practices
-Ensure a process exists to track that material/services will be delivered on schedule
-Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needs
-Interface with and assist Global Commodities team to support commodity buy/strategy implementation
