Independent Reviewing Officer - South West - Flexibility

My client is a Local Authority based in a picturesque area in the South West, in search of an Independent Reviewing Officer. The role will involve undertaking specialist tasks in the area of Child Protection and Children in Care, to provide a monitoring and audit role in relation to multi-agency practice. If you're an individual with solid experience within Children & Families Services, in search of an attractive rate and greater flexibility then this is a fantastic opportunity.

To apply for this role you must have outstanding leadership skills and a balanced by a comprehensive knowledge of statutory child care and allied regulations (including the Children's Act 1989, Children's Act 2004, Adoption and Children Act 2002, Children Leaving Care Act 2000). You'll also have the ability to make impartial, objective professional judgements. You'll be required to be registered with the HCPC and have a CQSW / Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent), front-line management experience and be looking for a role where you can engender best practice in all areas of Safeguarding Children.
