Independent Reviewing Officer-IRO-East London

My client is looking to an Independent Reviewing Officer to join their Safeguarding Service. You will be joining an extremely close-knit unit that is actively recruiting quality candidates to join their forward thinking authority. They are heavily investing in children's services and overseeing the team is an extremely supportive management network who has received glowing reviews from members of staff already there. It is a contract position in which, for the right candidate, you could earn up to £40 per hour. It is initially a three month contract based in East London.

You will be responsible for covering up to 65 Looked after Children (LAC) cases, chairing child protection (CP) conferences and implementing the strengthening families' model. You will be on duty 1 week of 8 and be completing 1 week, a quarter, in adults. Training is provided as well as flexible hours where you can work from home. Ideally you will have a minimum of four years post qualified experience and more recently worked as an IRO and CP Chair.
