Income Officer

Eden Brown is working with an Oldham-based housing association and we are seeking an experienced Income / Rent Arrears Officer to start immediately on an initial 6-8 week contract.

You must have a strong and recent track record in income recovery within a housing association or local authority setting to be considered for this role and any candidates who have previously used the Northgate system will be of great interest.

Your duties will include the following:

- Management of a patch of properties to collect outstanding arrears
- Visiting tenants and interviewed them in their own home in pursuit of rent arrears
- Aiding tenants with the application process for housing and welfare benefits
- Applying to court for repossession cases and representing the Association in court
- Preparing and serving notices including NOSPs
- Attending evictions
