Incident & Service Request Management Co-Ordinator

One of our key clients is seeking an Incident & Service Request Management Coordinator to join their team for a 3 month contract located at Richmond!

The ideal candidate will be required to coordinate the Incident and Service Request Management processes in line with the ITIL service management framework.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Able to design, implement and oversee a set of procedures and any necessary tools/systems to reliably identify, track and resolve incidents as defined in line with ITSM best practice.
- Assist with development, implementation and management of service level agreements
- Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience and training in a large complex IT environment utilising a service framework based on or similar to ITIL.
- Proven history in supporting the activities of a large, complex IT operation, and a demonstrated high level of understanding of the ITIL service management framework, and of Incident, Service Request and Problem Management processes in particular.
- Solid understanding of how a wide range of IT systems and applications work. A high level of technical IT expertise in any specialisation is not an essential requirement of this role although the role holder will be expected to have good general computing skills.
- Experience in customer service delivery including the management of expectations of customers from a range of levels.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT project management methodologies.
- Demonstrable analytical skills, including the ability to interpret a wide range of data and translate into meaningful management information.
- Able to liaise with different levels of the business
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & presentational)
