A highly regarded Federal Government department based in CANBERRA is looking to engage an experienced INCIDENT MANAGER to join their ICT team on an initial 5 month contract with possible extensions.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR, BUT NOT LIMITED TO :

- Manage the Incident Management process for Desktop Modernisation following ITIL.
- Understand any incident and gather sufficient information to drive resolution
- Manage the incident tracking system and team to provide timely reports on incident states
- Work with the project team and stakeholders to communicate effectively the impacts of incidents and planned resolutions

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

- Experience in successfully managing incidents in Federal Government using ITIL.
- Communicates effectively both orally and in writing.
- Produces documentation of high quality.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
