ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible to ensure the confidentiality and full complete safeguarding the company's trade secrets and any of our business clients customer lists and related records. (Accountable to: Corporate Leadership Team & Clients)
- To complete customer orders with accuracy efficiency and in a timely manner. (Accountable to: Customers)
- To offer all upsell items as designated by management. (Accountable to: Sales Management)
- To assist inbound management staff with administrative or other departmental duties as required.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on all products, promotions, and company policies/procedures
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain a professional and helpful attitude when interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Consistently work to improve listening and verbal communication in order to more effectively interact with the customer.
- Use company provided materials such as scripts, fact sheets and product samples to generate sales.
- Be at work in a prompt and reliable work fashion while demonstrating a cooperative and respectful work style with all people in performing all job functions/duties.
- Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs. The call center is open 7 days a week including holidays. Associates wanting time off must get the approval of the department Manager.
- All employees are expected to support the SAFETY & QUALITY concepts inherent in AMS business philosophy and to perform a variety of job related tasks which may bot be contained in this job description.
- Promote and facilitate a work environment representing mutual respect and teamwork for all employees, contingent workforce and visitors/guests.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 1-2 year's telephone sales experience is required.
- 1-2 years working in an inbound call center environment is preferred.
- Ability to sell products by using designated products, scripts and fact sheets.
- Some supervisory/management experience required.
- Must have strong listening and verbal communications skills.
- Computer and/or keyboarding skills are helpful.
- Ability to adapt to outbound calling methodology to generate sales if business circumstances dictates it.
- Must have ability to work in a fast paced people intensive work environment
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of collectibles in the area of coin & sport is helpful.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must work effectively both independently and within a group.
