In Vitro Pharmacologist

The successful candidate will join a group of lab scientists focused on supporting projects by developing and running biochemical and cell based assays, conducting cell culture and data analysis as well as communicating assays results.

SKILLS:

MOST CRITICAL SKILLS:

- Cell-based assay, biochemical assay, in vitro assay, cell/tissue culture, HTS.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

- Must have demonstrated experience with de-novo assay development, optimization, and in vitro screening experience across a range of biochemical and cell-based functional formats as well as cell culture expertise.
- Experience with high-throughput screening techniques is advantageous and comfort with relevant software tools such as ABase, Spotfire and GraphPad Prism is preferred.
- Must possess strong collaborative and communication skills.
- Should be adept at multi-tasking, integrating biology concepts from group discussions and the literature, and comfortable working in a team environment.
- Quick learner, team player, highly organized, detail oriented, energetic and enthusiastic learner desired.
- Potential travel.
