The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess:
- In-Home Supportive Services Experience in a Health Plan Setting
- Experience working with Disabilities or Senior Population
- Strong customer service skills and excellent oral/written communication
What You'll Be Doing:
- Assist Members with navigating and accessing In-Home Supportive Services Program
- Interact Between Members, Case Management and Member Services Staff
- Handle and coordinate documentation and resolution of In-home supportive services issues
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- High School Diploma
- At least three (3) years of experience working with In-Home Supportive Services Program
- Experienced working with people with disabilities or seniors
- Proficient with Microsoft office: including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- At least one (1) year of Experience in Medi-Cal managed Care Authorization processes
- Must have Knowledge of Managed Care and prior Health Plan Experience
- Must be experience in understanding Medi-Cal and MediCare
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual in Spanish
