IMS Voice Programme Manager

Experienced Programme Manager with IMS voice experience required for one of the worlds largest cable operators to lead their IMS Voice country deployment and migrations planned throughout 2018 and 2019.

The Voice programme is an extremely complex deployment programme to deliver to multiple countries as well as the expansion programme to build the future capacity requirements in the Core infrastructure build. This role is essential to achieve success on this challenging roadmap ask.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of specific project deliverables within cost, quality and time parameters, the scope and shape of the project, and to deliver capability to realize benefits within governance and to budget. This includes both the technical delivery and the associated revision to business processes to use that technology

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage delivery of project initiatives, developments, and releases.
- Deliver complex IT and business change projects to meet agreed business objectives, requirements, schedules, costs, Business Case, and quality objectives.
- Execute delivery managing financial budgets across multiple projects/programs of work.
- Actively review and monitor project status to provide regular progress reports and executive updates.
- Strong programme management experience of a multi-year, Pan-European programme (ideally), with the ability to not be sucked into the detail, so as to lose sight of the overall story;
- Very good knowledge of telecoms in principle, as well as IT and operational models;
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a flexible and pragmatic approach to getting things done;
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to reduce complex issues and plans to clear and succinct, upward-friendly briefings. This person needs to be able to communicate and to communicate the story, without making it overly complicated or confusing;
- Boldness. Needs to be able to hold the ground and push back and make bold asks to VP level as required;
- Stakeholder management and gravitas;
- Strong team player and leader - building confidence and momentum over the long-run, on a programme that requires tenacity and endurance.
