IMS/RCS Software Test Engineer Job

IMS/RCS SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Clara, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Client is developing IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) platform software for next generation tablets and phones. The software will support voice, video and Rich Communication Services (RCS) IMS traffic over cellular and Wi-Fi networks.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Software test engineer who is experienced in IMS and RCS system level software test development, test automation and testing.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Be part of a group to develop and integrate IMS and RCS software for Windows phone and tablet platforms.
- Ramp up quickly on requirements, test environment and tools
- Execute IMS/RCS test cases, capture logs and file defects
- Provide test support to software engineers with debugging and triaging defects found in software bring-up and validation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidate must possess a BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Communication Technology or Electronics.
- Three plus (3+) years of experience in Windows system level software test development and testing
- Two plus (2+) year of experience in integration or validation of IMS/RCS or related technology (eg LTE).
- Experience in Windows system level debugging
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of LTE
- Knowledge and experience with test development, manual and automated test execution and defect tracking tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with CMW500
- Knowledge of packet processing and networking technologies, preferably Ethernet and TCP/IP
- Knowledge of C++ and TTCN programming language
