IMS/RCS Engineer Job

IMS/RCS SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER needed for a four (4+) months CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Clara, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- Client is developing IP MULTIMEDIA SUBSYSTEM (IMS) PLATFORM software for next generation tablets and phones. The software will support voice, video and RICH COMMUNICATION SERVICES (RCS) IMS traffic over cellular and Wi-Fi networks.
- We are looking for a senior software engineer who is EXPERIENCED IN IMS AND RCS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND SYSTEM LEVEL INTEGRATION.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- IMS/RCS Senior Software Engineer will be part of a group to DEVELOP AND INTEGRATE IMS AND RCS SOFTWARE FOR WINDOWS PHONE AND TABLET PLATFORMS.
- IMS/RCS Senior Software Engineer Ramp up quickly on requirements, architecture, test environment and tools
- IMS/RCS Senior Software Engineer will develop IMS software
- IMS/RCS Senior Software Engineer will integrate and validate software subsystems to ensure they satisfy system level functional requirements and use cases
- IMS/RCS Senior Software Engineer will debug and triage defects found in software bring-up and validation
- Work independently on PLATFORM LEVEL POWER AND PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT AND OPTIMIZATION

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Candidate must possess a BS or higher degree in Computer Science, Communication Technology or Electronics.
- Two (2+) years professional programming experience in C/C++ on Windows platforms
- Two (2+) years professional programming experience in MFC
- Three (3+) years of experience in Wireless technologies (WiFi, 3G/LTE, IMS/RCS)
- Experience with Windows, Visual Studio
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills in C/C++/MFC on Windows
- Experience in Software Development Life Cycle, Object-Oriented Design and Development
- Experience developing software products targeted for Windows OSes (Win7/Win8.x) IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) or Rich Communication Services (RCS) experience

BONUS POINTS! PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Perforce/Git/ClearCase/UCM experience
- Windows COM interface, UI, IPC
