IMPLEMENTATION PROJECT MANAGER - Procurement System Implementation

My client is a Global Healthcare Leader and is currently seeking an Implementation Project Manager to work from their Guildford office to manage the implementation of a new P2P (Procure 2 pay) System. This is a 6 months initial contract with an ASAP start date.

As Project Manager for the rollout, this role requires the coordination of key Project activities and liaison with key stakeholders to ensure a successful delivery of the procurement system.

Responsibilities

- Strong liaison with various stakeholders including Procurement Operations Leader (POL), local key users and functional representatives.
- Coordinate project team resources
- Regular Project Management progress reporting and tracking to POL
- Prepare and review rollout plan milestones; identify risks and develop mitigation plans
- Prepare and distribute ad-hoc communication
- Coordinate training plans and UAT schedules for all sites
- Facilitate all access to the site and coordinate all logistics for on-site visits
- Promote and encourage a continuous improvement approach to optimize the End-to-End process
- Act as key contact for all sites during Cutover phase
- Assist and Co-ordinate 'Voice of Customer' exercise, post cutover

Essential experience

- Procurement transactional system knowledge
- Hands on Project Management experience including preparing project plans, milestone measurements, risk assessment and mitigation
- A cross functional team player, able to mix across sites & develop strong links with project teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Change management experience - how could things be done differently

Any commercial experience or Experience of working with Coupa (software) would be advantageous but is not mandatory.
