The Role

To support the Business Implementation Planning Manager to define track & report all business, customer & external stakeholder milestones to ensure a successful major Programme delivery.

Key Accountabilities

Support Business Implementation Manager in the creation and maintenance of the following high quality artefacts:

- Production of detailed Microsoft Project Business plans, Divisional 'Heat Maps' and a consolidated 'Single View' of all activity.
- Build & maintain a detailed integrated plan to reflect all Business Enablement milestones, programme dependencies, Business, Customer and external party milestones required for tracking.
- Work with the Business to document and record the key implementation activities eg rota's logistics and Schedule of Event'.
- Undertake impact assessments and scenario planning. Implement change management process.
- Maintain 'Master' database to record Business resource allocation, producing reports as required for stakeholders.
- Record and maintain Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies Log adhering to PMO standards.
- Gathering information and produce presentations for Executive and stakeholders audiences.
- Using the Plans and key stakeholder updates, produce Progress Reporting as required.
- Develop robust stakeholder relationships in order to receive timely updates and access to required information to undertake role successfully.
- Produce Financial Control Group (FCG) submissions and maintain Team configuration log centrally.
- Assist in 'tranche' reviews of the plan, capture learnings and contribute to continuous improvement of function.

Skills & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Degree Level or equivalent.
- Prince2 Project Management experience.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

- Advanced skill level for: Microsoft Office applications and in particular MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Visio & Excel and Access Database.
- Ability to produce and maintain business focussed project plans taking information from various sources and stakeholders.
- Ability to undertake scenario planning and impact assessments.
- Strong communication skills and highly numerate.
- Ability to take complex, multi-faceted ideas, objectives or problems and work with them through to simple plan, documenting clearly the implications and required decisions.
- Ability to work to short timescales and maintain quality output.

KNOWLEDGE:

- INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE - Good understanding of financial services and the electronic payments space. Understanding of industry best practice and trends together with their application within a business context.
- TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE - Project Management knowledge and qualification. Advanced skill level for: Microsoft Office applications and in particular MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Vision & Excel and Access Databases.

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience of working in fast paced transformation role (or similar) supporting on Business implementation planning. Including: Microsoft project task and resource planning reporting of progress to governance standards, risks, issue and dependency management.
- Evidence of producing and delivering output to a high standard of quality in a timely manner.
