Implementation Architect Job

IMPLEMENTATION ARCHITECT NEEDED for a CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Automation experience
- Java Development
- Scripting (Perl, Shell, or ruby)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the planning, organizing, and management of complex projects and resources to bring about the successful completion of project goals and objectives.
- Direct activities, track and report progress, manage and resolve implementation project issues, and successfully complete project within time constraints.
- Support application deployments, build new systems and upgrade and patch existing environments.
- Develop automation to quickly and rapidly deploy instances from hardened images
- Build and manage development and testing environments, assist developers in debugging application issues using tools
- Take lead role in developmentof tools and processes to support the infrastructure and application environments
- Contribute to the creation of system support documents such as run books used by our NOC
- Design the automation framework within our security and privacy guidelines
- Conduct training and workshops for other members in the implementation team.
- Take ownership of product rollout and operational documentation
- Provide 24 hour coverage (as needed)
- Perform weekend On Call tasks
- Report errors to development organizations
- Lead internal projects, extended cross LoB activities/communication

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A bachelor's degree and at least ten to twelve (10-12) years of professional work experience in IT/development and/or data center operations
- Three to five (3-5) years experience with automation tools like Chef, Puppet or Salt
- Three to five (3-5) years Java development experience
- Three to five (3-5) years Scripting (in Perl, Shell, or ruby)
- Java Application Server administration and tuning experience (eg Tomcat, Jboss)
- Administration experience (eg Ubuntu, RedHat/CentOS) with a focus on web (Apache
- Three to five (3-5 )years working with protocols/technologies like HTTP, SSL, LDAP, SQL, XML
- Application clustering/load balancing concepts and technologies
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to qualify/obtain a public trust government clearance.
- Five to eight (5-8) years system administration support in a Unix Environment
- Three (3) years experience in O/S installation and configuration
- Two (2) years experience in hardware installation
- Five (5) years VMWare experience
- Working experience with SAN storage
- Solid experience with SAAS solutions (a plus)
- Skills with automation, using Scripting and tools like Splunk (a plus)
- Experience with monitoring systems (eg Zabbix) (a plus)
- A passion for providing excellent service to all internal and external customers (a plus)
