Immediate HIRE for a Network Engineer with Data Center Experience

IMMEDIATE HIRE for a Network Engineer! This is a 12+ month contract position (option to extend) with the work able to be done remotely. However, preference will be given to candidates located in Sydney or Melbourne.

DUTIES:
1. Gathering and documenting existing client network and device information into a workbook that will be leveraged to develop the migration plan.
2. Developing new network designs in support of the transformation effort
3. Strong requirements gathering and documentation of network environments.
4. Respond to requests for technical information from Lead Engineers.
5. Ability to support a team of network engineers and client accounts in the network transformation effort.
6. Travel may be required.

REQUIRED:
1. Minimum 5+ years experience in network infrastructures.
2. Knowledge and experience with networking hardware to include Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.
3. Expert level capabilities within the Microsoft Office suite of tools, especially Excel and Visio.
4. Professional attention to detail and with sense of urgency.
5. Knowledge of IP, including TCP, UDP, NATing, OSPF, and BGP.
6. Knowledge of IOS stack layer 1, 2, 3.

EDUCATION:
1. HS diploma or equivalent required
2. Higher education required (Associate or Bachelor degree in a technical field).
