Immediate – DWDM Design Consultant – London – Initial 10 Days

My client, a leading global managed services provider and Cisco Gold Partner require a DWDM Design Consultant to work on a Data Centre Infrastructure Project for 2 new data centres at an end client based in London. An ADVA DWDM solution is required to connect all locations and provide a required solution to connect these new data centres as well as integration with existing data centres and sites. Responsibilities:

• Estimation of how much effort is required to complete the below

• Attendance and contribution in design workshops to understand and scope solution

• Completion of High Level Design (HLD) documentation that includes high level design detail of the physical and logical workings of the solution as well as migration planning. The HLD should include ADVA equipment lists and an estimation of services required to complete the Low Level Design (LLD), Build, Test, Deployment and Migration. Requirements:

• Previous exposure to working in a role requiring DWDM Design

• Exposure to designing Metropolitan Area Networks

• Specific vendor knowledge of ADVA DWDM solutions The length of this project is ultimately going to be decided by the level of work that is put in. The design consultant will be required to estimate project length and ultimately secure themselves a much longer contract than the original. The DWDM Design Consultant would be required for the full lifecycle of the 2 data centre moves. Initial 10 Days - London - Market Rate
