Our blue chip global client are looking for a Hardware Design Engineer to work in a specialist team responsible for the development of cutting edge technologies.

The initial length is 12 months, however - there is the possibility to extend an additional 12 months afterwards.

Role:

Take the lead in the evaluation and hardware implementation of a variety of systems.

Essential Skills:

10 years of industrial experience within Electronic Engineering.

Experience with VHDL coding for FPGA design.

Experience with Image Compression/Image Processing/Machine Vision standards (H.264, MJPEG).

Beneficial Skills:

Experience with High Speed Digital - PCB design

A working knowledge of optics.

Experience with communication protocols such as Ethernet

Experience with processor design.

Basic analogue design experience.
