ILS Supportability Engineer

Due to business growth, our client, Leader in the Defence industry, are recruiting. They are looking for an ILS Supportability Engineer to work in an existing team supporting customer bid responses.

The position will support both the ILS/CLS Manager with low level ILS capability and to assist the support engineering team. The successful incumbent will assist in responding to bids and his/her additional expertise in the support engineering area will assist in resourcing all support engineering tasks in the civilian or military area.

Specific tasks:

*Deliver to the ILSM, specific aspects within the overall ILS activity working with internal and external Customer's when required
*Analyse the support requirements within a bid
*Project and define the tasks and associated resources required to support the product
*Provide estimates of support undertakings
*Deliver electronics engineering support/fault-finding/maintenance of Company equipment line (electronic hardware and software)
*Assist with the provision of equipment required for customer demonstrations both in the UK and overseas
*Assist in equipment demonstrations UK and overseas
*Assist in training and field trials

Due to the nature of their market, our client is looking for an individual with an electronic background capable of using a number of Civilian & Military standards during the development of bid. Strong experience in the production of ISP and ILS element plans and associated tasks/analysis is required as well as an established experience in the application of ILS on through life solutions. The successful incumbent will have the experience to support customer trials and technical sales both in UK and overseas

The role may require UK and International travel
