Job Description
This role is intended to define the support service for the RSAF Typhoon EW support capability, to include definition of roles and responsibilities of all support stakeholders (Front and Back Office, Supplier reach back, existing SALAM support organisation, existing RSAF EWC Tornado support team) and customer change (Fixed Resource Variable Output) proposal. The support solution will be captured within a contractual customer facing document that will include Service Level Agreements to ensure desired availability of the EWOS capability.

The EW Support ILS Engineer will report to the LTEWP Technical Manager and will provide EW logistics support specialist input to RSAF EWOS capability development. The role will involve customer and supplier liaison, and involve working with customer and IKIP communities to determine EWOS capability support requirements; definition of a support service construct for the RSAF EWOS capability; agreement of the service level agreements for the RSAF EWOS capability with the supply base; implementation of the support service solution for the RSAF EWOS capability.

EW Support ILS Engineer

Description
A new opportunity for a six-month placement has arisen for a capable and enthusiastic ILS engineer to define, develop and deliver the support aspects of the RSAF Typhoon EW Operational Support capability. The EW Support ILS Engineer will report to the LTEWP Technical Manager with responsibility for providing EW logistics support specialist input to RSAF EWOS capability development.

A key aspect of the role is liaison with export customers and involve:
* working with customer and IKIP communities to determine EWOS capability support requirements;
* definition of a support service construct for the RSAF EWOS capability
* agreement of the service level agreements for the RSAF EWOS capability with the supply base;
* implementation of the support service solution for the RSAF EWOS capability.

As the EW Support ILS Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
- Customer and IKIP company liaison to determine EWOS capability support requirements.
- Definition of a support service construct for the RSAF EWOS capability.
- Agreement of the service level agreements for the RSAF EWOS capability with the supply base.
- Implementation of the support service solution for the RSAF EWOS capability.

As the EW Support ILS Engineer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- Understanding of logistic support principles.
- Experience in development of support service level agreements.
- Customer focussed.
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organisation and with the Customer.

What we're looking for in you.

This role requires a self-motivated individual who is able to communicate at all levels. The applicant will ideally be educated to degree level within an engineering subject or with an appropriate engineering background. Experience of the Typhoon programme in an ILS role is essential and an understanding of Electronic Warfare Support is desirable.
