ICT System Engineer (Skype for Business)

Our client a Telecommunications organisation is looking for an ICT System Engineer (Skype for Business) to join their team in Zurich for an initial 8 months contract basis.

DESCRIPTION:

- Operation of Skype for Business and basic infrastructure (ITIL Based) and troubleshooting in incident case
- Implement planned changes in an agile setup
- Identify and apply optimizations for operation

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Microsoft Skype for Business
- Technical Degree (ETH/Uni/FH/HF)
- Sound know-how in the Microsoft UCC solution (Skype for Business)
- Know-how in ICT solutions as well as in other products of the Microsoft environment (Windows Server, Exchange, O365)
- Several years of professional experience with UCC customer projects (design, implementation as well as conceptual and analytical implementation)
- Several years of professional experience in the operation of Microsoft Skype for Business Solutions as Operational Engineer (2nd and 3rd Level Support)
- Knowledge of SIP, RTP, H.323, MGCP and other protocols
- Strong social skills in dealing with customers
- Implementation oriented
- Very good German and English in spoken and written

NICE TO HAVE:

- Experience with various Third Party Additions to Skype for Business such as Verba, Skype Shield, West Emergency Gateway or Polycom.
