ICT Support Officer

ICT Support Officer - 6 month fixed term contract
LOCATION: South Bank, London
SALARY: £20k-£23k per annum (dependent on experience)

Coin Street Community Builders (CSCB) is a social enterprise and development trust which seeks to make London's South Bank a better place in which to live, to work, to study and to visit.

CSCB has transformed a largely derelict 13 acre site into a thriving mixed use neighbourhood by creating new co-operative homes; shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars; a park and riverside walkway; sports and community facilities; conference and meeting venues; by organising festivals and events; and by providing childcare, family support and a range of community activities for adults, older people, families and young people.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and qualified ICT Support Officer to join CSCB with an immediate start. The successful person will provide effective, customer focussed support for our Windows based network (approx 70% of the time).  In addition to supporting and maintaining our IT environment you will assist in the support of our audio-visual systems for both internal and external customers (approx 30% of the time).

CSCB is currently reviewing its ICT Strategy so it is an exciting time to join the team and may lead to developmental opportunities.

The Coin Street neighbourhood centre is open from 7.00am to 10.00pm, 7 days per week. Meetings and events are held in the evenings and events may take place at weekends.  You may be required to work or attend an event or meeting outside normal office hours.  Therefore it is essential that the post holder is flexible to allow a proper level of ICT staffing cover whenever the neighbourhood centre is open.

THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON WILL ALSO POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

- A recognised ICT qualification
- Previous experience of working in a busy support/help desk environment
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
