£127.32 PER DAY LTD

FULL TIME - 37 HOURS PER WEEK

6 MONTH TEMPORARY CONTRACT

The Systems Support and Development Team supports and maintains two of the Council's core applications (OLM CareFirst and Northgate Housing) as well as supporting and training users in the general use of ICT, including mobile working technologies.

The team currently has a vacancy for an ICT Officer - Line of Business Team to assist with these tasks, whilst also working on various projects. The successful applicant will be an experienced systems administrator, preferably with experience of one (or both) of our core applications and will need to understand relational database architecture. The post holder will need an in-depth knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Reporting Services, Business Objects, XML, HTML and integration platforms (Microsoft BizTalk).

The ability to work flexibly & independently is essential, as well as being able to work to strict timescales, communicate effectively and problem solve positively.

Knowledge and experience of the ITIL framework would also be an advantage.
