Job Introduction - ICT Network Security Administrator.

To reinforce our team at one of our prestigious customers in Brussels we are currently looking for an ICT Network Security Administrator.

Main Responsibilities - ICT Network Security Administrator.
Woking in a prestigious scientific international environment the candidate will be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken, be proactive and solution driven with good communication and team working skills

Responsibilities
•Information Security Management
•Capacity Management of services within Network and Security team
•Regular reporting to the Network and Datacentre Project Manager.
•Propose improvements in the processes and procedures in place.

Summary of key activities
•Service Management activities to cope with the Network Security requests received from IT helpdesk.
•Prioritization of requests in terms of urgency, impact and SLA.
•Administer hardware and software to deliver services along with the rest of the team members.
•Propose evolutionary changes to improve performance and availability of the hardware and software platforms supporting the Network and Security services.
•Advise the IT project manager on potential future projects aiming better performance, wider range of services, and more stable platforms.
•Become member of different project teams and provide effective technical leadership on projects coordinated by the Network and Datacentre team.
•Participate in project related and internal group meetings.
•Product incident and problem reports.
•Produce and improve technical documentation of all related equipment and software.

•Cisco Catalyst 65xx/45xx/35xx series. IOS based (CatOS being a plus)
•Cisco FWSM modules with virtual context Firewalls.
•Cisco ASA 55xx with virtual context Firewalls.
•IDSM2 IPS service module.
•Cisco Wireless Technologies WLC based.
•F5 Big IP.
•Cisco VPN service module.
•Cisco Security Manager
•CiscoWorks ◦Cisco Secure ACS.
◦Cisco IOS routers

•Experience with all sorts of network protocols (TCP/IP, IPSEC, SMTP, DNS…)
•Routing (Stating and Dynamic routing, with emphasis on BGP)
•Virtual Routing with VRFs
•Cisco VPN technologies
•Switching technologies with Cisco catalyst switches.
•SSL VPN technologies

Certifications
CCNA is required
