ICT Event Operations Specialist

- Together with the line manager, evaluate the best value for money offers from third party such as local ISPs or hotel offers covering the onsite IT requirements.
Event asset management
- Maintain the event assets making sure that all equipment is in perfect condition, referenced in CARE and up-to date;
- Prepare and dispatch material in coordination with UEFA logistic and LOGOps teams, including check-in and check-out processes;
- In close collaboration with ICT Purchase unit, the EOS will make sure that equipment and consumable stocks are in line with event's needs;
- The EOS will participate with the Events Operations Unit, including the OSMs, to elaborate the future ICT on-site event implementation roll-out.ICT Event Operations Specialist
Support
- Continuously check and action any calls in the ICT Events Operations mailbox;
- Ensure all CARE tickets are managed, resolved and dispatched in a timely and high quality manner;
- Operate the Draw system and act as on-site support person.
Cross-functional liaison
- Ongoing communication with relevant internal ICT service providers to leverage a unique approach and standardize the ICT processes and changes when it comes to event operations;
- Ongoing communication with business users including passing any change requirement details to the appropriate project teams;
- Work with third party partners to resolve bugs in the system.
Training
- Introduce and explain the environment to new staff;
- Ensure all users are aware of and understand any key changes and updates;
- Elaborate the ad hoc training and configuration documentation and keep them up-to date.
System configuration
- Act as reference point for all users, with perfect working knowledge of the Draw system;
- On-site FAME first level of support.
Requirements
Experience required:
- from 1 to 3 years professional experience in user support, network infrastructure and asset management.
- from 1 to 3 years in Events Operations.
Education:
- Bachelor's University degree or equivalent
Languages:
- English / Proficient
- French / Proficient
Additional requirements:
- MS Excel / Advanced
- MS PowerPoint / Advanced
- MS Word / Advanced
- Sufficient technical knowledge and insight to understand the application back end, including the authorisation model
- Knowledge of networking and IP
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Experience of working with VIPsICT Event Operations Specialist
- Attention to detail
- Efficiency and the ability to coordinate actions and anticipate issues
- Resiliency and the ability to work in high-pressure environments
- A background in the events business is an asset
