ICT CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR

MISSION DESCRIPTION
The operator-controller will be part of the Operations Management team.

His tasks consist of:

- Day-to-day follow-up business applications and tooling
- Day-to-day follow-up infrastructure components (network, Servers, storage)
- Updating operational document management and procedures
- IT support for external clients/public

- Unix-Solaris & Oracle Sun Clusters technology
- Windows server operating systems
- Windows 7 operating system
- Red hat Linux operating system
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Vision)

USEFUL BASIC/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

- CA-Autosys scheduling and monitoring tools
- CA-Spectrum and Infrastructure management tooling
- Scripting tools (eg Perl, Confluence)
- Appliance management rules (Firewall, Loadbalancing, Security Gateways)
- Active Directory, Exchange, Sharepoint, SQL2008, SQL2012
- Middleware (B2B Webmethods, WebSphere Application Services)
- Oracle Databases

LANGUAGE SKILLS

- French/Dutch: active knowledge (understanding/speaking/writing technical documentation/reading) of one language and passive knowledge (understanding/reading) of the second one.
- Active knowledge of English (understanding/speaking/writing technical documentation/reading)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ICT Operator-Controller must imperatively dispose of a professional experience in delivery of ICT support services of minimum 5 years.

WORKING HOURS
The consultant will work in a three-shift system
Appr. 8/10 weeks: AM from Monday until Friday (6:00 to 13:15) and PM from Monday until Friday (13:15 to 20:30).
Appr. 1/10 weeks: night work from Monday until Friday (20:30 to 6:00)
Appr. 1/10 weeks: Sunday night (22:45 to 6:00)
Appr. 2/10 weeks: Saturday AM (6:00 to 13:15) and Saturday PM (13:15 to 20:30)
Appr. 1/10 weeks: day work (8:45 to 16:45)
