FUNCTIONAL ANALYST
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
For its development teams working on in-house developed products, Our customer is actively looking for a functional/business analyst with IT development background who will be able to:
Understand and model business requirements related to GFM processes, this with regards to the existing models and systems.
- Participate in sorting, prioritizing and sizing the developments required to answer the requirements.
- Produce IT specifications based on the CBD principles and making use of the most suited modelling tools following Our customer methodology.
- Assist the developers in producing a quality code, based on the specifications.
- Produce test scenarios to be used for system and integration testing.
- Execute acceptance tests with end users.
- Participate in definition of possible points of improvements either for applications or for team operations.
- Participate in second- and third-level support interventions on (critical) production systems.
RESPONSIBILITY
- Analyze, understand and document business requirements or problems.
- Analyze existing documentation and gather information from within the Project Team and from the business.
- Take initiatives for meetings with the business and the team and be responsible for the follow up.
- Document business processes using Role Activity Diagrams
- Produce functional system specifications compliant to the Our customer methodology standards, CBD oriented (Component Based Development)
- Produce business component interface specifications compliant to the Our customer methodology standards (CBD)
- Produce & follow-up test scenarios on a component and system level
- Review functional system specifications of peers
- Review business component interface specifications of peers
EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
- Experience level: medior.
- Proven experience as functional analyst.
- Sound knowledge of the UML modelling language is a must.
- Experience with UML based Case Tools (eg Enterprise Architect
