IBM Z/SERIES OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (M/F) 100% - MAINFRAME/ENGINEER/OPERATOR/GERMAN

ROLE:
Our customer is looking for an experienced IBM z/Series Operations Specialist to complement its internal team.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Work-proven knowledge of the z/OS operating system including knowledge in as many of the following areas as possible:

- Job Entry Subsystem (JES2/JES3)
- Time Sharing Option (TSO) - Workload Manager (WLM)
- Communications Server
- Data Facility Hierarchical Storage Manager (DFHSM)
- Resource Access Control Facility (RACF)
- Interactive System Productivity Facility (ISPF)
- Restructured Extended Executor (REXX)
- Unix System Services (USS)

Ideally also good knowledge of z/VM
Knowledge of data and security architecture
Knowledge of infrastructure
Troubleshooter mentality (Incidents, Changes, etc.)
Hands-on "can do" mentality (practitioner, not a theorist)
