IBM Sterling Business Process Analyst

6 months contract position of IBM Sterling Business Process Analyst in St. Petersburg, FL

Summary:
Responsible for the administration and design of the Ceridian Transmission Center's product infrastructure; and design and configure new business processes and file transfer interfaces for projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  Experience with UNIX and Windows platforms.
Administration and infrastructure maintenance of Sterling Products (Sterling Integrator, Control Center, and FileGateway).
Configure and provision partners in Sterling Integrator and FileGateway.
Ability to administer the Sterling Integrator and Axway Secure Transport installations.
Proficient in Sterling Integrator/Sterling File Gateway and Axway Secure Transport.
Experience Developing Business Process Workflows and Maps, Using BPML (Business Process Modeling Language) Graphical Interface.
Proven experience with mapping EDI, BAI, Variable-Length-delimited, SQL, Positional and XML documents on Sterling Integrator.
Proven experience in specifying best practices for IBM Sterling Integrator and IBM Sterling Managed File Transfer.
Understanding of TCP/IP, networking infrastructure and Firewall rules.
Troubleshoot file transfer issues in co-ordination with other support teams in a timely and efficient manner.
Coordinate with external and internal teams during testing and deployment of file transfer configuration.
Work hand-in-hand with external and internal partners during on-boarding of an application for file transfer.
Good verbal, written and communication skills.
Ability to be a team player and blend well in a diverse team.
Manage projects or project sub-plans by developing, coordinating and controlling the steps necessary to carry out a project within established time frame, quality and requirements.
Elicits and clearly defines client needs by assessing and documenting business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential business solutions. Conducts business assessment reviews and walkthroughs for complex projects.
Prepares and updates written material and explanations to accompany systems, programs, and program changes.
Writes specialized/customized programs using multiple or complex languages.
Makes coding changes that impact system architecture/functionality. Writes programs for major application enhancements.
Coordinates and executes testing for multiple, major applications. Develops and coordinates training for internal client personnel.
Provides vendor relations and client support, training and testing within the area of expertise.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in a related field.

Experience:
5+ years of experience in IBM Sterling File transfer products
Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator and File Gateway products
Hands-on experience with Axway Secure Transport
Familiarity with file transfer protocols - FTP, SFTP, FTPs, Connect Direct, HTTPS
5+ years of experience in UNIX and Windows platforms
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
