IBM Netezza Consultant/Team Lead

A NETEZZA CONSULTANT/TEAM LEAD with PureData and Datastage ETL experience is needed for my leading technology consultant to work on a 3 month minimum contract based in Amsterdam, Holland. This consultancy is a leading Business Intelligence specialist and is currently expanding heavily into their new team within a Bank in Amsterdam.

You'll be part of a professional team of Development and Operations Engineers and your role will be a mixture of leading a team of 6 developers whilst also being "hands on". The development and testing of technology lies in data integration layer architecture, part of a global data lake initiative of this particular Bank using Agile/Scrum building ETL solutions.

You will actively contribute to the team by thinking of new ideas, increasing performance and keeping results focused. You will have excellent Netezza skills and be very client focused, your core knowledge will be around BI, Big Data, Data Warehousing and ETL. You must know and also practice AGILE SCRUM as well as continuous delivery.

CORE TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED;
- Netezza
- PureData
- Datastage ETL
- Mako/TwinFin
- Oracle
- Classic BI/ETL on a very fast platform
- Agile, Scrum
- Security (Desirable)
- Java (Desirable)
- XFB (Desirable)

This is a very lucrative contract role where you'll be responsible for managing a team of 6 developers and helping drive a major data lake initiative building the very best ETL and BI solutions.
