IBM Mainframe Developer for Multinational Client in the Hague

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A IBM MAINFRAME DEVELOPER TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN THE HAGUE

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANTS

-

Provision of test data, by executing the load and the extract of test data on request into various non-production environments.
-

Batch execution by creating, modifying and running the OPC applications in the test environments on request.
-

Software deployment validation by validating JCL, EGEN and OPC definitions, and by the setup of datasets.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE

-

University degree with minimum 5 years hands on experience as IBM Mainframe Specialist
-

Demonstrable knowledge of z/OS, OPCA, JCL, Cobol/DB2, EGEN, RACF,VSAM
-

Demonstrable knowledge of SQL
-

Experience with incident and change management processes and tools (eg Tivoli, iET)
-

Experience with workflow management principles and electronic task management tools such as Jira.

Knowledge of industrial best practices for DTAP environments, disaster recovery principles, test data management
-

Knowledge of Software Development methodologies/life cycles and/or Infrastructure Development methodologies/life cycles.

Good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and analytical skills.

Being active in a multi-cultural environment, the Contractor's staff shall have a very good level of English (oral and written).
