IBM Integration Bus (IIB, Previously Websphere Message + Broker) Exper

BACKGROUND:

Brussels based international bank, implementing a new strategy for integrating business applications. In that context, IBM Integration Bus (IIB) is selected as a major component of the solution. Part of the Middleware team, you'll be Brussels based, with regular trips to Paris and London.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

Providing expertise at design and implementation project steps in order to:

- Emphasize best practices and recommend guidelines to optimize IIB implementation;
- Improving the efficiency of the service operations (both IT and operational aspects);
- Facilitate projects design and implementation

Coaching the internal development teams of the Bank that will implement IIB flows in the scope of their projects:

- Speed up the learning curve of the Bank's staff using IIB;
- Increase the code quality produced by the development teams;
- Validate the IIB guidelines and standards to be deployed at the Bank.

SKILLS:

You have at least 7 years' experience with IBM Integration Broker (formerly known as WebSphere Message + Broker) in large companies. Your expertise allows you to master the internal elements of those products, implement efficient solutions for business services, and guide IBM customers towards a successful implementation for IIB based services. You have your personal IIB peer network.

You are willing to join the Middleware engineering team, as a key expert. You are a team player, ready to coach/raise expertise of team members located across the bank's group (Brussels/ Paris /London).
