IBM INFOSPHERE PLATFORM SPECIALIST

Location: Leiden, Netherlands
Duration: 6 months to start with
Start date: March 11, 2013

Allocation: full time

Responsibilities
- Management of IBM Infosphere platform like Datastage, Information Analyzer, FastTrack
- Analyze and understand project requirements from business and technical perspective
- Review the development of jobs and sequencers for extracting the data from the variable data sources
- Loading modules using the Data Stage designer tool
- Translate business requirements and high-level functional concepts into architecture
- Understand customer's BI architecture and propose improvements
- Guide the project team on Datastage technical queries
- Single point of contact for Infosphere work and share the progress in Infosphere area with customer at regular intervals
- Help in planning and execution of Infosphere projects

Skills
- Around 5 Years of Datastage development experience with exposure to versions 8.x
- Experience in working in Business Intelligence Systems (ETL systems)
- Should be aware of basis Data warehousing concepts
- Hands on experience of ETL area involving IBM Information server product suits (some examples listed below)
- Create ETL Jobs using Datastage
- Manage or Monitor tasks
- Scheduling,managing security
- Information Aanlyzer
- Metadata Workbench
- FastTrack
- Business Glossary

- English is mandatory
