IBM InfoSphere Optim/Discovery Consultant

Our client a well known investment bank based in Zurich is looking for InfoSphere consultants for a large greenfield project.

The ideal consultant will be experienced in IBM InfoSphere Discovery and InfoSphere Optim data masking solution. 

Skills and duties:

- Experience in installing IBM InfoSphere Discovery 4.6 & Optim 9.1 Tool.
- Experience in for discovering sensitive data elements in DB2, VSAM, Oracle, SQL etc. using InfoSphere Discovery
- Experience in masking of data in DB2, VSAM, Oracle, SQL etc. using InfoSphere Optim
- Experience in handling masking of flat files.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues that occur when performing the discovery and masking using the IBM tools.
- Good knowledge and experience in InfoSphere suite of products such as Classic Federation, Classic Data Architect, InfoSphere Federation Server etc.
- Knowledge of writing Optim exits
- Create patterns using regular expressions and use the tool to identify the relationships among data that were not defined in the Database level
- Experience in doing primary key, foreign key analysis during data discovery.
- Study data flow and business rules to define obfuscation policies.
- Configure Optim and on-board the applications in InfoSphere Optim.
- Define convert process in InfoSphere Optim
- Extract the data using Test Data Management component and perform the data obfuscation.
- Perform Fit-For-Purpose testing and validate the results with client SME's.
