IBM DATASTAGE ETL DEVELOPER, TELECOM

IBM DataStage ETL Developer sought for a Telecom sector migration project based in Jutland/Denmark.

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE MIGRATION DEVELOPER INCLUDES:

- Understanding the current Migration setup
- Understanding the source systems (Amdocs, SugarCRM, Navision, CapSettle etc.)
- Handle a domain autonomously (for technical spec and development)
- Technical design for ETL development
- Develop extractions programs and deliver result to Migration
- Turnaround bugs with short intervals to support testing
- Participate in team meetings and participate to find solutions to complex migration issues

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE, SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILL SET;

- Migration development experience (min. 5 years)
- Experience with Telco and the sources systems mentioned above
- ETL development, specially DataStage
- Shell script and SQL
- Ready to work on an engaged team under strict time lines
- Able to produce innovative workarounds to complex issues
- Excellent collaboration skills, where experience from a multi-cultural set-up will be advantageous.
- Should ideally have worked within the telecoms sector and have knowledge of Telco billing (but overall must have extensive experience of IBM DataStage and be able to deliver to tight schedules and committed).
- Fluent business level English language
- Eligibility to work in Denmark

START: 1st November

DURATION: 3-6 months
