NK137: IBM DATASTAGE DEVELOPER BANKING, BRUSSELS
Background
Leading player in the financial sector is looking for a datastage developer with a minimum of three years.
The technical teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both internal and external clients. They deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that doesn't compromise production stability and to ensure applicative production support.
The non-technical people maintain the maturity of the IT project delivery with appropriate controls in line with the group's risk appetite and reducing development and running costs.
The Business Intelligence team is in charge of the development of Management Reports. The key skill required to work in Business Intelligence is to be interested by both the business world and the IT world.
Role involves:
- Design the technical ETL solution (Define the technical interface, specs for the source systems, the ETL processes from landing zone till storage) and develop the solution with IBM DataStage.
- Design the physical relational data model in collaboration with the DBA.
- Define the scheduling requirements for ETL processes in the data warehouse.
- Develop & test (unit test, functional test and data profiling) the ETL processes
- Prepare the releases & installation instructions
- Ensure the hotline support of the developed applications
Your main responsibilities will be to handle Business Intelligence developments.
Based on your depth knowledge of both Business and Business Intelligence you will act as catalyst in order to identify pragmatic solutions.
You will identify the right balance between Cost and Quality/Completeness.
Senior person, you have technical skills but can as well deal with the business. You master IBM Datastage. You can justify of several applications developed using this application.
You can also design the data model in a data warehouse context (Dimensional Datamodelling for data warehouse and data-mart applications). You're able to work in team and cooperate with your colleagues to share the important information.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence methodology would be an asset.
